China is continuing to develop its military strength, and according to experts, it is working on several planes in order to attain superiority, including against the US.
It was learned this week that China is developing satellites to assist in attacks against naval vessels, primarily aircraft carriers, at very large ranges. A US research institute is reporting that China has already developed special satellites with high-definition optic systems, in addition to special radar systems, some of which are on satellites. Their purpose is to locate targets such as aircraft carriers, which are part of a naval task force, with a high degree of precision, and allow for their destruction through the use of long-range missiles.
According to the same report, China has already positioned a missile at some of its bases, which has been named “aircraft carrier destroyer.” This is a D21-DF missile, which according to the report, possesses a range of approximately 3000 km and a high level of precision. China is additionally operating Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, which are part of a system whose purpose is to aim long-range missiles towards naval task forces and destroy them.
